Registering a sole proprietorship in Greece
The whole process is done online, with no fee and no visit to a tax office (ΔΟΥ).
Step by step
- Log in — myAADE or gov.gr, with your Taxisnet credentials.
- Business start for individuals — «Έναρξη Εργασιών Φυσικού Προσώπου» in the Registry (Μητρώο) section.
- Fill in the details — Activity codes (ΚΑΔ) and business address.
- Submit — You receive a unique application number.
- Registration certificate — myAADE → «Μητρώο & Επικοινωνία» → e-Κοινοποιήσεις.
Note: choosing the right activity codes and tax status affects your taxes and social security contributions. It is worth reviewing it with us before you submit.
