Updating the National Contact Registry (ΕΜΕπ)
You register your mobile number, email and address so that public services can contact you digitally. Updating it is mandatory within 30 days of any change.
Step by step
- Open the service — gov.gr → «Πολίτης και Καθημερινότητα» → «Εθνικό Μητρώο Επικοινωνίας» (or emep.gov.gr).
- Log in with Taxisnet — Use your personal credentials.
- Confirm your mobile — With a one-time code (OTP) sent by SMS.
- Fill in the rest — Email, optional landline, full postal address.
- Contact preference and submit — Choose how you want to be notified.
Note: if your mobile cannot be verified online, the declaration is made at a KEP citizen service centre.
