Child benefit (A21): how to apply
The A21 child benefit application is submitted online to OPEKA with your Taxisnet credentials. The amount depends on your dependent children and your family income in the latest assessed tax return.
What you need
- Taxisnet credentials and AMKA (social security number).
- This year’s income tax return (E1) already filed. Without it, payment is delayed.
- An IBAN for an account in your name or joint name.
- Children must regularly attend compulsory education, and this is checked.
Step by step
- Open the platform — idika.gr/epidomapaidiou or via opeka.gr, with your Taxisnet credentials.
- Consent — Accept the processing of your data.
- Fill in the application — Personal details, spouse details and IBAN.
- Check family composition — Confirm your dependent children.
- Documents, if requested — Attach them within the application.
- Submit — Save the submission receipt.
Note: the platform opens and closes in cycles during the year. Check OPEKA announcements for current dates, or ask us.
